There are beautiful beaches, golf courses and restaurants nearby and the country market on Saturday mornings is always worth a visit. Tiri Tiri Matangi Island bird sanctuary is also close by and can be reached by local ferry. There are many coastal walks in the vicinity.
The Ambers offers elegant country accommodation inclusive of full European-style cooked breakfast. Breakfast is served in our formal dining room with fine linen and silver tableware or on the terrace for a more relaxed start to the day. In the evening sit in the garden with complimentary pre-dinner drinks or play a game of petanque.

Finding The Ambers is easy. We are only 30 minutes drive north of Auckland city.
From the South (Auckland city): Take the Motorway (State Highway 1) out of Auckland and then the Silverdale exit just north of Albany. Turn left onto State Highway 17 and then first right into Pine Valley Road. The Ambers is at the bottom of the hill.
From the North (Orewa): Follow State Highway 1 South. Take the Silverdale exit and turn right into State Highway 17 and then first right into Pine Valley Road. The Ambers is at the bottom of the hill.
